Abstract
The aim of this study was to confirm the gender differences in health-related quality of life (HQoL) factors among adult cancer survivors. National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2015?2019) data were used to select study participants, and 428 adult cancer survivors were selected to participate in this study. Among the participants, 316 were women and 112 were men. A complex sample lineal regression and a Rao-Scott chi-square test were conducted to identify gender differences. Age and self-rated health were related to the HQoL of adult cancer survivors regardless of gender. Household income and marital status were related to the HQoL of male adult cancer survivors (F=4.80, p=<.001), and moderate intensity physical activity and depression were related to the HQoL of female adult cancer survivors (F=4.74, p= <.001). Gender differences should be reflected when developing health promotion programs to improve HQoL for adult cancer survivors.
